Virtual Support Sessions

About the event

The state of Indiana has provided a substantial number of helpful resources, including the 2023 Math Frameworks and ILEARN Checkpoint Blueprints. Using available resources to help design curriculum and effective lessons is essential for contemporary math instruction, but there are two key action steps to navigating the resources. One — knowing they are available and how to find them — and two — using them efficiently to get the "most bang for your buck!" SIEC has gathered math practitioners, Jamie Faulk and Ben Lawalin, from the region to brainstorm priority math education needs. One of the top issues is knowing about and using the provided Indiana resources. Because of that, we have developed two online support sessions particularly for K-8 math educators, coaches, and administrators. Included in the two online sessions:

  • How to navigate and manage the 2023 Indiana Math Frameworks and ILEARN Blueprints

  • How to look at and use Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs) for interventions

Interested? We would love to see you online for these two support sessions. See more information below!
