Join the Indiana Department of Education Assessment Team for an engaging, in-person professional development session focused on making the most of your ILEARN Checkpoint data. This interactive event will guide educators through a deep dive into Checkpoint 1 results, offering hands-on support in accessing, interpreting, and applying student data to drive meaningful instruction. Participants will explore the ILEARN Checkpoint system and theory of action, learn how to navigate Cambium’s Centralized Reporting System (CRS), and engage in content-specific breakout sessions for Math and ELA. With expert guidance from IDOE Assessment Content Specialists, attendees will analyze real student data, collaborate on grouping strategies, and plan next steps using the Instructional and Assessment Frameworks. Whether you’re new to ILEARN Checkpoints or returning from last year’s pilot, this session will equip you with the tools and insights needed to turn data into action.

The session will be split in two parts, both led by members of the IDOE Assessment Team:

• A whole group portion

• A breakout session: one group focused on utilizing ELA data and the other on using Math data
