About the event

Use Teacher Evaluations to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

As districts plan for the new school year, make changes to their administrative team, or plan to add evaluators, you will want to consider the SIEC Teacher Evaluator Session. If you are using the RISE evaluation tool, a modified version of RISE, or other high-quality tools, this session will work for you. Whether you are new to administration or a seasoned school leader, this is a perfect opportunity for school districts to ensure inter-rater reliability among administrators. Participants will take a deep dive into their corporation's evaluation tool to fully understand each indicator on the classroom observation rubric, what evidence and artifacts are relevant to the indicator, and how to use the teacher effectiveness tool for rating the classroom teacher.
