Join us for SIEC's NEW Regional Collaborative for Middle School Redesign. Middle school is a critical window for shaping student identity, confidence, and connection to learning. This Regional Collaborative is designed to support schools in intentionally redesigning the middle school experience to strengthen wellbeing, build durable skills, and lay the foundation for future pathway success.
Key Topics Include:
Why Middle School Matters: Understanding the unique role of middle school in student development and long-term success.
Career Awareness & Exploration: Developmentally appropriate strategies for introducing career pathways, interests, and real-world relevance.
Career Coaching & Conversations: Defining what effective career coaching looks like at the middle school level and building a shared language for meaningful, ongoing career conversations.
Wellbeing & Durable Skills: Supporting student belonging, mental health, and engagement while intentionally developing transferable, future-ready skills.
Action Planning & Continuous Improvement: Guided reflection, feedback, and clear action steps, with a follow-up collaborative to support implementation and shared learning.
