Navigating and Planning for English Language Arts (ELA) Checkpoints in grades 3 - 8

About the event
Attendees will discuss aligning curriculum with assessment standards, analyzing checkpoint data to inform instruction, and implementing targeted interventions to support student growth. We’ll also take time to explore the resources available to support administering the checkpoints.
Through this collaborative workshop and practical examples of teaching multisyllabic words, teaching morphology, and modeling and teaching reading comprehension strategies, participants will be equipped with actionable strategies to optimize teaching and learning experiences leading up to the checkpoint assessment.
