About the event

The Mentor Teacher Training (MTT) program aims to guide and support the experienced teacher in learning effective mentoring strategies through evidence-based and connected experiences. This is done to create an effective and supportive environment for high school students who strive to develop artful teaching skills through a Youth Apprenticeship experience.
Participants will be awarded professional growth points for their efforts, with 45 points earned in the first school year and an additional 45 points earned in the second school year. Based on experiential learning and practical application of learned skills, the potential exists to earn 90 professional growth points.
