Media Specialists PLN

The Southern Indiana Education Center welcomes all school Media Specialists and Paraprofessionals who serve in their Media Center to two Professional Learning Network (PLN) sessions for the 2026-27 school year. We will meet in person on the provided dates, and every session will last two and a half hours.

This group is special since we make a point of visiting a member school's media center for each session! Since we've been on the road the last few years, our first session of this 2026 school year will be held at the SIEC office in Jasper.

Feel free to ask questions and be prepared to support each other at each opportunity. We look forward to seeing you at these sessions designed specially for media specialists.

We have made it easy for everyone to register by combining all networking dates into one registration form. If you select multiple dates on your registration form, SIEC will automatically add your names to those events—no need to submit any additional forms.

• Fee: SIEC Member - $40 per session/Non-member $65

  • Please bring a laptop computer so online resources can be accessed.

  • A catered lunch will be provided.

  • Participants will receive Professional Growth Points.

  • Deadline to register is 2 weeks before each networking session.
