Overview

The Career Connected School Certification is a year-and-a-half systems-level process for schools and districts ready to go beyond isolated initiatives and fully embed career-connected learning across instruction, advising, leadership, and community partnerships.

This is SIEC’s most comprehensive certification—designed for teams ready to lead transformation at scale. Participating schools will receive strategic coaching, professional development, implementation tools, and statewide visibility as part of a growing network of purpose-driven innovation across Indiana.

This certification helps your school move from compliance to clarity and coherence—ensuring every student sees value in what they’re learning and where they’re headed.

• Schools with staff already certified in Career Advising Certifications

Timeline & Commitment

This is an 18-month cohort experience that begins Fall 2025 and runs through Spring 2027. Participating schools commit to:

• Attending strategic planning retreats and PD workshops

• Hosting a student and school showcase to demonstrate implementation

• Engaging in school coaching and team reflection

• Submitting artifacts of progress across key domains (instruction, advising, partnerships)

• Participating in regional learning network sessions
