Learning Intentions: 1. Learn the active skills needed to maintain a productive student-centered classroom discussion. 2. Understand how to systematically evaluate classroom discussions using factors such as depth of thought, inclusivity, and active listening. Success Criteria: 1. I can plan and independently facilitate a structured 10-to-15-minute student-centered academic discussion embedded within a mentor's overarching lesson. 2. I can present a viewable digital folder compiling the lesson context, discussion framework, mentor critique, and a self-analysis using the five provided prompts.
