Learning Intentions: 1. Learn how to craft compelling lesson openings (hooks) that establish immediate real-world authenticity, student curiosity, and clear learning purposes. 2. Understand how to collaboratively integrate higher-order, real-world critical thinking tasks utilizing IDEAS (Inquiry, Design, Evaluation, Argument, Systems) options. Success Criteria: 1. I can record and upload the implementation of two distinct lesson hooks, accompanied by a narrative breakdown evaluating their efficiency, authenticity, accessibility, student engagement, and effectiveness. 2. I can collaboratively design a real-world task using the IDEAS task options with my mentor, provide a written summary of our planning process, and evaluate integration results within a classroom lesson.
