The concept of an Affinity Group is different from a traditional professional development as it is driven by those involved. Collaboration of this type has been proven to increase the knowledge base of those involved and foster ongoing professional relationships that will continue to grow.
During a SIEC Affinity Group Session, participants will:
Receive 2 mini PD Sessions
Share instructional strategies that resonate and work for your classroom
Collaborate and network with others in their field
Use the collaborative inquiry process to determine the future needs of the group
