Uranus
| Uranus
was the first planet to be discovered by using a telescope. It is the 7th planet in the
Solar System. It is about 1,783 million miles from the Sun. Uranus is on its side.
Scientists say that it got hit by an object that made it tilt. Uranus is a blue-green
color. It comes from the planet's gases. Uranus is a ball of hydrogen and helium gases
with a core of rock with ice around it. A space craft could never land on Uranus because
the surface is made of gas and is not solid. It has 15 moons. Uranus has rings like
Saturn. It has 9 thin rings made of pieces of ice. The rings are black which make them
hard to see. By Brittney and Chelsi |
