Pluto

PLUTO

Pluto is the 9th and farthest planet from the sun. It is not a giant planet. It is the smallest planet in our solar system. It is about 3,666 million miles from the Sun.  Pluto is about 2,000 miles (3,000 km) across.  It has no rings and has 1 moon. Its moon Charon is about the same size as Pluto. Some scientist think they are a double-planet system. Very little is know about Pluto. It appears to be made from  frozen ice and methane gas. It may have a rocky core.
