Sacramental Preparation | Mass Participation | Adopted Parish

Community Service | Living Our Faith

Holy Family School is proud of the many programs and activities we offer to enhance our children's Christian faith. Our many programs offer a solid foundation on which our students can build and develop a strong Christian faith which will enable them to be strong individuals committed to being our future leaders in our faith communities.

Sacramental Preparation

For those students wishing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist, Holy Family offers a program in partnership with our students' parents in preparation for these sacraments at the second grade level. The students participate in a full day retreat presented by the second grade teachers and the Director of Religious Education as part of the preparation process. Reconciliation is typically celebrated in early December and First Eucharist in April.

Mass Participation

All grade levels have the opportunity to plan and participate in masses throughout the year. This provides a unique opportunity for our youth to express their faith before our Christian community.

Mass Buddies

Our older Elementary and Middle School students have the opportunity to mentor to their younger peers through our Mass Buddy Program. Our older students mentor to their younger counterparts by attending mass, field trips, programs, prayer services and other events with their "buddies" while exemplifying our Christian values to their partners. This program encourages our students to be positive role models while creating a special bond between our youth and older students.

Adopted Parish - Dupity Haiti

Holy Family sponsors a sister parish in Dupity, Haiti. Dupity, Haiti has very little in comparison to our lifestyles. This sponsorship provides our students with knowledge of the less fortunate who share our Christian faith. Throughout our program year, our students have special service projects and programs for the children of Dupity, Haiti. One favorite is Christmas Shoe Boxes filled with special items for the children of Dupity.

Community Service

Community Service projects are offered by our students throughout the year. Some of the past projects are: hosting our senior citizens dinner, collection of food goods for the local food bank, caroling at the local assisted living community and many more. Through their many community services our students learn that sharing our gifts and talents with others can be very rewarding for everyone including themselves.

Living Our Faith

Holy Family students have the unique opportunity to share and grow their faith through many special programs offered at Holy Family School. Some of these are:

  • Prayer Services

  • Christmas Program

  • Advent and Lent Activities

  • May Crowning
