I think it is very special.
As a seed it was to the Moon!

Since it was on Apollo 14 it is special. It
has been in outer space, it has traveled farther
than most living things on earth!
- Jessica, grade 5

I think we can learn more about
our Earth and the Moon from this tree.
- Stephanie, grade 4

I would like to know where all of the
Moon Trees are and how are they doing.
-Brittany, grade 3

I think we should study all of the Moon Trees
to see how they grow compared to trees like them
that did not go to the Moon.
- Tre, grade 4

I wonder if we will ever travel to the Moon again.
-student, grade3

The Moon Trees are very important because they represent our space travel.
Many people wanted one of these trees when they were being passed out.
- Heather, grade 3

We should go back to the moon someday soon.
People want to know more
about the Moon and Earth.

student, grade 3

I wonder if the DNA of this tree is different
from normal Sycamore DNA.
-student, grade 5

I also wonder if it is going to live as long
as other Sycamore trees.
- Jessica, grade 5

I think the Moon Trees are special and
should be studied by NASA
and the U.S. Forestry Service.
- Gary, grade 3

I think that we should go back to the Moon
some day soon to find out if anything is
different. - student, grade 3

The Moon might have a lot more to tell us about
our Earth so we need to study the Moon Trees a lot.
- Taylor, grade 4

I think that the Apollo Missions were very
important to our space explorations because they
helped us understand about low gravity and space rocks.
- Tre, grade 4

I hope that we keep our Space program going.
I hope we go back to the Moon.
- student, grade 4

It is one of the few living things on earth
that has been so far and came back down.

It is awesome!
 - Charlie, grade 4

I like nature and space, and the Moon Tree is both of these things, that is why it is so special!
- Chelsea, grade 4

I hope we go to the Moon again and this time
take vegetable seeds or fruit seeds
to see how they grow."
