Buddy Project
***The
Buddy Project is no longer being offered by
the state. We enjoyed being a Buddy school, and we
hope someday this program will be reinstated.***
Below is information about our school's
participation in The Buddy Project.

CES Media Club
students with Sen. Richard Young at this year's
Buddy Rotunda Day!
Our
school is a buddy school for the past eleven
years. The Buddy Project, now called Buddy2, has, in the
past, allowed our elementary school to provide a
computer and printer to each student in grades
4-6 to use at home for homework. The purpose of
this was to make the home/school connection
stronger. During this time, we were involved in
many other projects offered by Buddy, including
summer camps on Science and Technology, Buddy
sharing days, Buddy Rotunda Days (visiting the
state capitol and talking with many
representatives and senators about how technology
has helped education), summer grant projects, and
more!
This year, our school was given a grant that
allowed us to have our second Math Family Night!
And, on Jan. 31, members of our Media Club
visited our State Capitol Building for the 2007 Buddy
Rotunda Day!
We highly recommend you take a look at
the Buddy Project
website because it provides a multitude of
activities for learning for the students,
parents, and teachers as well!
