There are many ways that you can help the Perry
County Animal Shelter both in a variety of ways.

In the shelter, you can help bathe and groom animals,
walk the dogs, play and socialize with the puppies
and kittens, and help the staff with the everyday
chores and cleaning of the facility.

Sponsoring a pet's medical care and/or
adoption fee is another way to help. This helps
make it easier for the pet to be adopted.

Fostering a pet or litter of pets is a great way to help
if you want to give a temporary home until the pet/s
can be adopted permanently. Fostering helps animals
who need help with socialization or who need extra
time and care in order to be brought back to the shelter.

Other ways to help include fundraising for the shelter.
You help organize events to get the word out about
the pets and what is needed at the shelter.

*** See posters we made to showcase the animals of PCAS.***

People of all ages can volunteer, however, children under
13 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and
teens need written consent from a parent or guardian.
A waiver must be signed by all volunteers beforehand.

Volunteers can and do help save precious lives!

The above information was provided to us by the Perry County Animal Shelter.

you are saving a life!"
