Adoption from the Perry County Animal Shelter is
easy.
If you want to adopt one of the dogs or cats,
you will be interviewed by the PCAS staff and an
arrangement will be made to visit your shelter you
will offer the animal. There is a contract that must be
accepted and signed and you must show you
have a current driver's license.
PCAS does have the right to deny adoption
for any reason. There is an adoption fee.
The fee provides for the following:
Spay / Neuter Surgery
Rabies Vaccine
Worming
ALL Feline or Canine vaccines up-to-date
Heartworm Test (dogs only)
Kennel cough vaccine (dogs only)
Care bags with samples
Most of the adult dogs are kennel trained and
cats are litter box
trained.
Puppies and kittens
are worked with for the same.
You can visit or call the Perry County Animal Shelter
to find out more about adopting a pet.
