The opportunities made available through the Academy hold true to excellence in professional development in the fullest sense.
By this we mean sessions are outcomes-based and of ample duration to ensure that knowledge obtained is sustained. This could mean sessions could span the course of two years. Offerings are comprehensive and inclusive in nature. For example, our literacy cohort will include early literacy and intermediate components. It will address the needs of high ability learners, and include data analysis. A coaching piece, as well as an administrator component, is included when appropriate. We are proud to offer this quality programming to our member schools.
In addition to the comprehensive offerings of the Academy, we make available awareness sessions in all areas of instructional best practice. We also design roundtable discussions and networking sessions to meet the needs of member schools. Sessions structured to empower change such as train-the-trainer, teacher mentoring, and instructional leadership are offered on an ongoing basis.
